Every time I call from my house phone
it always shows as private on other phones ,
does any body know how to change it so it's not private ?
thanks .Unprivate your home phone number ?First thing to do is to call your phone company and ask them if your phone number is set up to always block the caller ID information from being sent (you may have to emphasize that last part because they will most likely think of the incoming block - not a permanent outgoing one). If so, then ask them to take off that feature.
If they say that your number is not set up that way - then ask them what the *xx code is to remove blocking. They will know. The *xx codes are often the same, but not always, so you need to get the proper one from your phone company.Unprivate your home phone number ?This will change depending on where you are.
