I currently have Vonage and need an entirely new phone number (and get rid of the old one), advice on how?

I currently have a Vonage line from NJ and need an entirely new number for Columbus, OH and scrap the old NJ number. I looked at the virtual numbers but it seems they only cover the %26quot;calling in%26quot; portion but people getting my calls won't see me as OH, they'll still see me as NJ, so %26quot;virtual numbers%26quot; wouldn't work.

Any idea how to change your Vonage # entirely to another without cancelling your service?I currently have Vonage and need an entirely new phone number (and get rid of the old one), advice on how?ask to change your number, they will not cancel your line, you can ask to change your number for OH and it will costs $9.99

a call 鈥?during your move!

1. Log in to your Online Account and set up your Network Availability Number to have all of your calls forwarded to your cell phone or another phone number until you are settled in your new home.

2. Change your address by logging on to your Online Account. It's important to update your account with your new address so that in the event of an emergency, 911 can find you.
