How can I unlock my cell phone?

I accidentally locked my cell phone. I changed the code about a month ago, but I forgot it. I know the default code is the last four digits of your phone number, but I changed it to something different and I can't remember what. The code is a four digit number. The phone is a Verizon LG. Iv'e mathematically determined that there are 10,000 possible combinations. I started at 9999 and have been going backwards through the codes using every possible combination and I'm at 8650. This is taking a long damn time and I think I'm ready to smash the phone. Is there any way other than trial and error to figure out the code? I tried turning the power off and taking out the battery, it doesn't work.How can I unlock my cell phone?stop trying random numbers because you can fry your sim card and then you'll really be stuck! Your best bet is to try 0000 and if that doesnt work then call them tell them you locked your phone by accident and they'll reset it. Just have the ss# of the person who's name its under when you call. Good luck!

I would stop entering numbers before you fry your Sim card. That would cost you another Sim card and you will lose all your information. Take it to your cellphone dealer and see if they can help you.

call customer service for verizon %26amp; they should be able to help you. i did the same thing when i got my verizon lg phone a couple years ago. i don't remember if they gave me the code, or walked me thru the steps to reprogramm it. Good luck!!
i did that one time to mine but mine is cingular i called them and they had a default code so trycalling verizon they'll want to know SS number but it worked for mine
Think about what numbers you might have used and try them first. You probably have already done this. Otherwise, contact the Verizon wireless store and they may be able to reset the phone for you.
