How do i file a complaint against telemarketers that call 2-3 times a day and sometimes before 9am?

i have asked them to stop calling me. they stop for 1 day and start calling again with the same area code, but different phone number. they say i have asked for information about a %26quot;home-based%26quot; business. I don't need a %26quot;home-based%26quot; business. i have to take chemo treatments and this situation is causing me unnecessary stress. ATT suggested i change my phone number. why should i have to change a number i've had for years? there must be something that can be done. thanks for your help. How do i file a complaint against telemarketers that call 2-3 times a day and sometimes before 9am?If you are in the U.S. register your number on the national do not call list with the link below. If they call after that tell them you are on the list and if they contact you again you will turn them in. I think you can probably turn them in on the same site. (It's illegal to telemarket someone on the list) The calls usually stop immediately after you register.

If they say you have a business relationship tell them that you already asked them to be on their own %26quot;do not call%26quot; and that legally they can no longer call you. Write down the date and all the numbers they call from and let them know you will call the FTC if they call again.

this happens all the time it has nothing to do with telemarketers, some one filled out some info online requesting ways to make extra money from home and mistakenly put the wrong number in the request which happens to be your number. now when companies get this lead they think it is a legitimate request for info and they are just trying to help. no ones fault, this happens a lot.
