i have asked them to stop calling me. they stop for 1 day and start calling again with the same area code, but different phone number. they say i have asked for information about a %26quot;home-based%26quot; business. I don't need a %26quot;home-based%26quot; business. i have to take chemo treatments and this situation is causing me unnecessary stress. If they call after that tell them you are on the list and if they contact you again you will turn them in. I think you can probably turn them in on the same site. (It's illegal to telemarket someone on the list) The calls usually stop immediately after you register.
If they say you have a business relationship tell them that you already asked them to be on their own %26quot;do not call%26quot; and that legally they can no longer call you. Write down the date and all the numbers they call from and let them know you will call the FTC if they call again.
