UK: how long have you had your mobile number?

I ask this as Ive only ever had 2 mobile numbers sinse my first phone in 1999. I had my %26quot;old%26quot; number transferred to more modern sim card. My sister and dad are the only ones with an %26quot;old number%26quot;.

I cant see any reason to change. My mate and my older bro are constantly changing numbers. 1 or 2 numbers a year - I just don't see the point. My sisters number is about 10yrs old mine is about 7 or 8 years don't intend to change. Really like to know how common are older numbers ?UK: how long have you had your mobile number?I have more than one mobile because one was not holding its battery charge, so had to get another that was stolen, so had to get another, that I couldn't find so assumed it had been stolen, bought another and found the other one. I also have a touch phone. I have had my original number for about 7 years.

If a 'phone number is abused then it is best to change the number. If a person uses their phone for the wrong reasons by abusing another number then they will change their number.

well im 14, ive had my phone for about 3 years, and i havn't changed numbers since i had it

I first got a mobile phone just after my son was born, 13 years ago. I've had the same one ever since, I just transfer it when I change phones.
I got my phone 4 years ago, but I changed network, so around 2-3 years?
I've had the same number for 6 years, I just change it over. Saves having to tell everyone!

Just keep it I have had mine for almost 12 years now ,

many people (not all people) change their phone number because they may have been in trouble with may be girls or banks or companies that they don't wanna get in contact with.

Just an idea who knows.
