How to check text messages on phone?

There use to be a number to call to check your text messages on your phone by dialing #DATA and now it says something about Altel. I get 250 text messages a month so i usually call that number to see if i've gone over the limit or not. i tried to call yesterday and im guessing the number for that has changed?? If anyone knows what to do or what the new number is that would be a HUGE help! thanks :) and by the way im verizon (if that means anything)How to check text messages on phone?The number should be in your phonebook. I also am on the verizon network, and i call #DATA to see how many texts I used. However, this probably depends on your location, and it may have changed. I would advise asking your Verizon dealer.
