I have been asking for 3 years now. they think that i need to have good grades to deserve one. if i get a single C, even a 79.4 (79.5 is a B) i can't get a phone. It's not like we can't afford it either we live in a pretty nice neighborhood and haven't been that affected by the economy. my parents don't realize how hard it is for me to get good grades and i try and i can't do it. i think that C's are still good grades. i have had so many times when i have had a change of plan and had to wait for my parents to show up because i didn't have a phone or couldn't remember their numbers so i had no way to call them. it has also been hurting my social life. i'm a sophomore in high school and 15 and i've been talking to people and trying to make friends which is big for me because i've always been shy and usually they stop talking to me after the whole %26quot;whats your phone number?%26quot; question and i have to answer with i don't have a phone.
so is there anyway that you convinced your parents that you should get a cell phone or how to convince them i am really trying in school and maybe i am just a B-C student.Convince My Parents To Get Me A Phone?I am a parent to a 6yr old and a 4 yr, I have just given my daughter my old mobile so I know where she is and if she has any problems at school etc she can call me (she has been bullied..... yes at 6).
I would just say you are working as hard as you can (and make sure you do) but also give them the pro's to you having a cell phone, eg they can reach you at any time, know where you are, if your in trouble you only have to call etc that would change my mind if I was dubious about one also if it would be a contract phone don't go overboard on it as that would dampen the idea, make sure you get a good package with enough minutes and text messages so you don't cost them alot. You could try offering to help pay by doing chores etc or get a saturday job and pay for your own ?Convince My Parents To Get Me A Phone?try to tell them you have been working very hard trying to impress them with your grades and say how come u cant just give me a chance.how old are u and i will finish helping you im only 13 in 7th grade so i know how u feel.
