4. Do you know? How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?>> ,?

To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits

%26gt; on your phone: * # 0 6 # A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This

%26gt; number is unique to your handset. Write it d own and keep it somewhere

%26gt; safe. When your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider

%26gt; and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so

%26gt; even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally

%26gt; useless.

%26gt; You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever

%26gt; stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would

%26gt; be no point in people stealing mobile phones.4. Do you know? How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?%26gt;%26gt; ,?it didn't work on my phone. And if mine got stolen I would just call Verizon, have them cancell service to that phone and get a new one, that's why I pay for insurance.

Well, I have insurance on my phone also. I asked my carrier to disable my phone with the IMEI number and they said it could not be done. I did get a new phone but would have liked to put a stop to the thief using it.
